Hon. Clement Sloya, the Member of Parliament for Sabatia, on 10th October 2025 led a tree-planting exercise at Ondeyo Primary School to mark Mazingira Day. The event brought together Sabatia NG-CDFC members, pupils, teachers, local leaders and community members in a practical demonstration of environmental conservation. Speaking during the exercise, Hon. Sloya emphasized the importance of instilling environmental responsibility in young learners and protecting natural resources for future generations. Dozens of tree seedlings were planted within the school compound as part of efforts to promote a greener environment, improve climate resilience, and support the national tree-growing campaign.
